The Primary Care Academy (South West) would like to invite you to attend the ‘Multi-Professional Modular Supervisor Course (MMSC) 3b – First Contact Practitioner (FCP)’ which is being held on:
Wednesday 13th November 2024 from 0930-1330
Entry Criteria Module 3b-FCP:
Be an experienced GP or Advanced practitioner or verified First Contact practitioner with a minimum of one year’s experience in post
AND
Experienced or actively practicing in the area they intend to supervise.
AND
Have completed some formal supervisor development.
Examples of formal training include: Clinical educator programmes; PgCert in clinical education; practice educator programmes; local supervisor training course
Module 1 + 2 of the MMSC.
Intended Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course supervisors should be able to:
- Understanding the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2
- What training routes are available?
- Understanding Capability and Competency
- Workplace Based Assessments
- Supervision
- Trainees in difficulty
- Verification Process
