Introduction to the Multi professional Modular Supervisors Course
Are you a Primary Care professional looking to supervise learners within your practice or PCN?
The MMSC is a modular course designed for you to get the training you need to supervise other professionals in your practice.
- It is designed for a range of primary care health professionals to learn what they need to successfully supervise various learners.
- Each module is half a day, delivered in small groups on -line by experienced facilitators.
- The course has grown from the successful GP trainer course and the Roadmap Supervisor’s course, to streamline and simplify supervisor training in the South West.
- It is supported by practical on-line resources.
Modules 1 & 2 are generic, introducing the key elements of supervision of learners in primary care, and the use of consultation and case discussion learning in clinical practice. They are relevant to all who are new to primary care supervision.

Modules 3 are learner specific. Entry criteria apply to each.
Modules 1-3a will qualify you to be a GP clinical supervisor. If you go on to do modules 4&5 then you will become an Educational Supervisor. Click here for more details:

You do the modules you need for the supervision that you want to offer within your practice. There is no need to repeat 1 & 2 if you are already a GP, CS or ES, or have already done this and want to widen your breadth of supervision skills to include other professional groups.

**Please note that our program is currently in the pilot phase, and while we are enthusiastic about its potential, future funding has yet to be confirmed. However, your submission is crucial in helping us gauge the demand and necessity for such development.
